Be Nice to the Robots offers private lessons and group sessions for everyday life and work. Start with the basics, explore an interest, or work through something you’ve already tried.
The founder
Kit Mueller
Your lessons are led by Kit Mueller.
A Pittsburgh native, Kit Mueller has been building technology companies since his twenties. He helped bring early mobile communications products to market, and later helped secure Stronghold Digital Mining’s first Pittsburgh headquarters. As its vice president of corporate development, he also joined the company in ringing the Nasdaq bell.
Today, Kit is cofounder and Chief Customer Officer of Skilly AI, a company based on years of applied research at Carnegie Mellon University. He works with universities and community organizations using its AI guides. Those guides help people find answers about studying at the University of Pittsburgh or planning a visit to the city through VisitPITTSBURGH.
Kit has also advised and supported hundreds of founders and builders. He has led practical business workshops, including a sales workshop at Ascender in Pittsburgh. Be Nice to the Robots grew out of requests for help getting started with AI and getting more from tools people had already tried. Here, he works with you on something you want to do, with time to try it, ask questions, and check the result together. You can learn on your own or with friends.
How we teach
New to AI? We’ll explain the tool and show you where to begin. If you’ve used it before, we’ll start with your questions. You can type or speak on your own device.
Choose something you want to do, add the details it needs, and review the result together. Practice asking for changes and checking the facts, then try the approach again. In a group, compare how different instructions change the answers.
Private lessons include a personalized recap; groups keep a shared recap. Practice can use made-up information, and you never share passwords. You’re welcome to learn about AI before deciding whether to use it.
